1157; Connected Hearts

I saw Star Trek earlier with Andooo. And that’s not the reason why I’m blogging right now. I’m going to share with you my obsession when I was in High School. When I finished it, I even twitted. That’s how obsessed I am. And apparently, I have influenced Andooo too. But that just means that it’s a really great Japanese Comics or as they call ‘manga’.

Author: Katsura Masakazu.

Artist: Katsura Masakazu.

Chapters: 143 – Complete

There’s an OVA. And it’s called I”S Pure.

I”s talks about how Seto Ichitaka deals with his crush on an aspiring actress named Yushizuki Iori. The whole school then puts all their attention (actually just the pervs) to her when Iori posses wearing a swimsuit in a magazine. Ichitaka suddenly gets partnered up with Iori for the freshmen welcoming committee. But it seems that when everything is going well between the two, something comes up and complicates things more.

1152; The Original Gossip Girls

It’s been a long long time since I blogged without pictures. But of course, this will include pictures. I just figured out that I look like a big loser during high school. Meg and I were talking about stuff which reminded me a hell lot of high school. And yes, I’m even listening to Parokya ni Edgar’s Sayang. Yeah.

You didn’t freaking court me! Oh third year life.

1147; Oh the Violence

Because Stephanie Quain Chang is probably one of the best people in world, I managed to snag tickets to the David Cook and Archuleta Concert Live in Manila! Ahhh concert hangover incoming! I managed to get some videos of the songs that I like. I’ll upload those pooor quality videos when I get home (and probably clean my room too). But here are the pictures. Only 35mm lens were allowed in the concert. Boo. And now, I’m desperately wanting to have my own telephoto lens. David Cook played majority of the time which explains why he has more pictures (and ’cause I’m a huge fan). But we were late and we were still looking for our chairs that’s why we didn’t enjoy Archuleta much.

Over all, this is a super worthwhile concert!

A Thousand Miles.

1143; I know looks can be decieving

What happens when I’ve had too much Taylor Swift, a pair of forgotten Tennessee boots, free time and a sunny day.

Voila~ Warning: Full of my wretched face. So better scoot over if you don’t what to see my face.

What a beautiful noon! So hot too.

I’ve got nowhere to go, I tried to take the road less traveled by~

1139; Squirrel Face

But she’d managed to find her way into our reality, perhaps because she had an important mission here, perhaps because she was here to save us from what people call the monotony of life.

What if you went on a train station, you look around and saw deep brown eyes looking straight back at you? Captivating you? As if you’ve known and shared a past life together? That’s exactly what happened to nineteen year old Jan Olav when he boarded the train. A girl with an orange anorak, carrying a bag filled with luscious plump oranges. You can’t keep your mind off the fact and began a long quest only to find her in a Cafe where she squeezes your hand. Jan Olav travels from Oslo, Norway to Seville, Spain to uncover this nail biting mystery.

The Orange Girl is the latest novel written by acclaimed author Jostein Gaarder who wrote the best selling Sophie’s World: A Novel about Philosophy. Jostein Gaarder uses the eyes of fifteen year old aspiring astronomer Georg Reod to uncover who the mysterious orange girl was and if her mother even knew this. Jostein Gaarder touches a lot of aspects in life, love, longing and death. The book is a wonderful fairy tale meant for teenagers. You couldn’t put the book down because of the mysteries and riddles that keep building up. In the book, we can see the conversation of Georg and his dad who died eleven years ago — in an attempt to create Natalie Cole’s duet with her father entitled Unforgettable.
